Turn off Chrome notifications
Chrome notifications are intended to help you, but they can quickly become annoying and distracting. There’s no need to stick to the default settings, and you can disable the notifications.

- Open Chrome and select Settings by clicking on the three dots in the upper-right corner. Mac users can use the keyboard shortcut Command to go to Settings.

- Prevent permission requests from sites by switching the blue toggle to off under Sites Can Ask to Send Notifications

Manage tab groups
Browsing the Internet can be difficult when multiple tabs are open, and you don’t know where everything is. Thanks to Chrome, you can create groups of tabs and organize them, so they’re easy to find. All you have to do is right-click a tab and select Add tab to a new group to create a group. You can assign a color, name the group, split the group, add a new tab or close all tabs in the group. You can even rearrange the group by dragging tabs or removing pages. When you want to add a new tab, right-click a tab inside the group. Similarly, you can move the tab to an existing or new group or remove the tab from the group.
Once you’ve compiled your tabs into groups, you can click a group name and hide all the tabs until you want to use them again. The feature makes it so much easier to find your open tabs in Chrome.
